Five Powys Archers compete in the Gwent County Open Indoor Championships
Maria Melham , Ashley Collins , Roger Davies and Danny and Paul Pinder all attended the Gwent County and Open Indoor Champs In Chepstow on the 7th of November .
The tournament was held at the army barracks which was ...... interesting. They were definitely packing more weaponry than we were!!
Our Powys archers did us proud with Maria taking 2nd place visiting lady recurve archer with a score of 499.
Danny Pinder took first place in the U16 Gents Recurve category with a score of 547 and was also the highest scoring Junior recurve archer of any age group. Paul Pinder took first place in the Gents Recurve category with a score of 577.
